Homemade Antenna

We will guide you through everything from the antennas we currently use to those we have manufactured in the past.

All antenna adjustments are made using a RigExpert antenna analyzer.

In order to efficiently perform domestic QSOs at 7MHz, previous antennas were of the type that launched radio waves directly overhead.

The 50Ω coaxial feed Zepp antenna I'm currently using.
A longer wire is strung parallel to the underside of the full-size Zepp antenna.
As an image, it is a type that launches radio waves directly above in order to efficiently utilize the ionosphere as a 7MHz domestic QSO only.
Since the ground is sandy, we wanted to increase the reflectivity of the ground as much as possible, so we laid down wire mesh.
A gain of 5 to 8 dB is ensured in transmitting and receiving compared to a general normal Zepp antenna.
